Featured Wineries:

Bella Vineyards and Wine CavesBella Vineyards and Wine Caves

Hosted by Lynn and Scott Adams, Owners

Bella Vineyards and Wine Caves is a small, family owned winery specializing in wines that highlight exceptional vineyards, the flagship being their 100 year old hillside estate vineyard in Dry Creek Valley. The mission at Bella is to make very small lots of high quality wine that celebrate these outstanding vineyard sites. Over the last 15 years, Bella has earned a reputation for creating exceptional wines that balance mouth-filling, bold flavors with a rich complexity. Bella will serve wines from their highly acclaimed Vineyard Series, which spotlights small-lot zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley, including the exciting Barrel 32 and Rockpile wines which recently received 95 and 94 point scores from Robert Parker in the Wine Advocate.

Cast WinesCast Wines

Hosted by Ann and Jack Seifrick, Founding Partners

Cast Wines, tucked into the forest on a tranquil bench above their Grey Palm vineyard in upper Dry Creek Valley, grows and produces handmade wines onsite in limited quantities. The newest winery in Dry Creek, Cast crafted their inaugural vintage in 2012. Celebrating the peace and beauty of the valley, wines are presented in a relaxed, seated alfresco tasting experience, enjoyed with selected cheeses and a beautiful view that will definitely cast a spell! Cast will serve their signature Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah.

Collier FallsCollier Falls

Hosted by Barry Collier, Owner

Collier Falls is a family-owned winery making limited quantities of estate red wines from their own hillside vineyards in the northwest corner of Dry Creek Valley. They sustainably farm 20 acres at elevations exceeding 1,000 feet, where steep vineyards of rocky, clay soil produce mountain grapes with great color, character and intensity — perfect fruit for a winemaker to craft robust and full-bodied wines. Collier Falls is named for the waterfall below their Zinfandel vineyards, and their wines are found in the restaurants of legendary chefs like Wolfgang Puck, Emeril Lagasse, Tom Colicchio and Thomas Keller.

Fritz Underground WineryFritz Underground Winery

Hosted by: Clayton Fritz, Owner

Fritz Underground Winery, built by namesake Mr. Jay Arthur Fritz in the late 1970’s is a monumental Gaudi-style masterpiece built into the side of a picturesque hill atop the northernmost region of Dry Creek Valley. By harnessing gravity to move their juice from the crush pad down to the tanks and barrels, the winery is energy efficient and saves the juice from excessive pulsation and buffering. This enhances the delicate nuances present in their estate wines. Fritz will serve a selection of their Dry Creek Valley estate wines, including Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel and Malbec.

Mounts Family WineryMounts Family Winery

Hosted by: David and Lana Mounts, Owners

Quality through sacrifice is the priority at Mounts Vineyards. Having grown grapes for over 60 years, Mounts Family Winery is now extending their philosophy of excellence to their new winery and tasting room. Third-generation grower and first-generation vintner David Mounts specializes in estate-grown varietals that are farmed directly by the family. Mounts will feature many varieties from Dry Creek Valley, including Zinfandels, Bordeauxs and Rhones.

Kachina VineyardsKachina Vineyards

Hosted by: Greg Chambers, Owner

The name Kachina comes from the Hopi Indian religion, where Kachinas are supernatural beings who come down to the Hopi villages from their home atop the San Francisco peaks near Flagstaff, Arizona. Operating 100% on solar energy, Kachina Vineyards is a magical property on the eastern benchlands of the valley that features sweeping vistas and a herd of Spanish goats. Producing less than 1500 cases per year the owners have a very hands-on approach to the winemaking and picking process, combining fruit from the valley floor and the bench to produce complex, full bodied and fruity wines including Cabernet, Chardonnay and Zinfandel Port.
