A short 10-minute drive from the Lake Sonoma Dam, Gustafson Family Vineyards is a destination that embraces the natural beauty of the redwoods, the largest Madrone tree in Sonoma County, and 30 mile panoramic views. The winery, barrel cellar, and tasting deck, all set in the heart of the vineyard, invite you to linger and enjoy our Estate wines while taking in the best view in Dry Creek Valley. Come meet the small team behind our award winning wines: Owners Dan, Kristen & Jeff Gustafson, Winemaker Emmett Reed, and Tasting Room Manager Kaitlin Reed. We look forward to meeting you!
The old sheep ranch, at an elevation of 1800 feet above sea level, has rich, red volcanic soil known for producing superb wine grapes. The first vines were planted in 2002, and vineyard plantings are now complete at 20 acres; varieties include Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. The property is owned and managed by the Gustafson family, and the family intends to keep the vineyard property feeling like a private home. This is a place they enjoy hosting visitors and wine lovers from all over the world.
