DCV Like a Travel Blogger Itinerary

Spencer Spellman, social media guru and writer behind the travel & experience blog, Whiskey Tango Globetrot, spent some some time in Dry Creek Valley the summer of 2016. Spellman is versed in all things travel having done so from a young age. With his blog he strives to inspire readers to live and live well. Living well to Spellman can be a culmination of many things –

“Be it visiting a new country (that leads to becoming an expat), brewing your own batch of beer (that leads to opening your own brewery), documenting your own story (that leads to becoming a published author or photographer), or traveling to an unfamiliar part of your own home state or country (which simply leads you to being a better citizen). We only get one shot at this life, so we might as well make it count, because if we do it right, then once is enough.” – Spencer Spellman

Spellman was inspired by our beautiful Dry Creek Valley and has created his take on experiences that are unique and construct an authentic Sonoma Wine Country adventure. We invite you to read about his adventures and encourage you to recreate these with your own distinct spin.

Eat, Play, Stay in Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley

“You guys, Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley may just be one of my favorite corners on the West Coast. Yes, this is in fact Sonoma, which is one of the best wine regions in the world. Yet what stands out for me is much more than simply your token wine experience. Its roots run deep (literally and figuratively), while it has a certain beauty coupled with rugged uniqueness that you don’t often find in wine destinations.

So recently I partnered with Dry Creek Valley to further explore this unique corner of California. And while I’ll be sharing more about my recent trip, I first wanted to share my eat, play, and stay guide to Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley…continue reading Spellman’s guide here..”

Wine Tasting Workouts in Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley

“As much as I love going to my kitchen for a craft beer from the fridge or whipping up a craft cocktail, there’s just something about a unique or exclusive experience that culminates with a glass of beer, whiskey, or wine. It’s the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and that’s exactly what I sought out on my recent trip to Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley.

But I didn’t just want your token Sonoma wine tasting experience. I wanted to feel like I had worked for my wine. And so that’s exactly what I did. So today I’m coming to you with how I worked (and worked out) for my wine in Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley…continue reading Spellman’s blog here.

Thanks to Adam Decker for the great photo of Spellman in the center!

Spencer Spellman rules Instagram with over 7,900 followers! We wanted to create an experience to match so we partnered together and hosted our first ever Instameet. Over 30 local photographers, wine media and social media influencers came to meet and greet with Spencer, our wineries and hone their Instagram skills. We knew that the combination of amazing scenery, great wines and sustainability messaging would be a home run.

Spencer Spellman blogs about the Instameet here!
