Uncorked + Vineyard Tours give you an exclusive look at Dry Creek Valley wineries & vineyards with the opportunity to learn from the experts themselves. Hosted by legendary winemakers and growers you’ll taste different personalities and styles of wines at each of these locations.

SATURDAY, APRIL 25TH

Saturday Vineyard Tour at 9:30am – Bradford Mountain Estate Vineyard Hosted by Peterson Winery

Join Winegrower and Peterson Winery Proprietor, Fred Peterson, as you tour through his 20 acres of vines on the Bradford Mountain. Sitting at 1100 square feet elevation on the Western edge of Dry Creek Valley, this special site has a unique terroir and exquisite views. Fred, a lifelong grower, tends to 14 varietals at his home vineyard site. Cruise through the different rows, say hello to the flock of wild birds, and taste exquisite wines from this special place. 20 guests. Meet at 4791 Dry Creek Rd. Healdsburg.

Saturday Vineyard Tour at 9:30am – Collier Falls Estate Vineyard Hosted by Barry Collier

Join winemaker and grower Barry Collier for a very personalized vineyard tour and tasting. Barry will discuss, among other things, the differences between Primitivo and Zinfandel and the challenges of growing fruit on steep hillside vineyards. He will also outline the obligations of sustainable farming his property which borders Fall Creek, a protected tributary and spawning ground for migrating Steelhead Trout and Coho Salmon.  25 Guests. 9931 West Dry Creek Road, Healdsburg.

Saturday Vineyard Tour at 9:30am – Lytton Springs Vineyard Hosted by Ridge Vineyards

Guests will enjoy a deep dive into our century-old vineyard, where we will explore the mechanics of organic farming, the ins and outs of old vine, mixed blacks field blends, and learn about our philosophy of pre-industrial wine making. We will sample multiple vintages of Lytton Springs, to gain an understanding of the complex role vine age, field blend, and cellar time will affect the resulting wine. 15 guests. 650 Lytton Springs Road.

Saturday Vineyard Tour at 9:30am – Unti Vineyards Hosted by Mick Unti

Mick and George Unti are carrying the torch for making wines from Italian grape varieties from their Dry Creek Valley Estate vineyards. Dry Creek Valley’s Mediterranean climate is well suited to grapes native to Southern Europe. We will visit vineyard blocks and taste the current release wines of Sangiovese, Barbera, Primitivo, Aglianico, Vermentino, Fiano and Montepulciano. West Wines winemaker will guide you through the impact of aging and barrels on Cabernet Sauvignon. We will reach back in time and pull some rare vintages 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2006 to show how the flavors change and deepens with aging and depends on the climate of the year harvested. The vintages are selected to show specific characteristics of different harvest seasons, but also how Cabernet Sauvignon is the ‘king of grapes’ when it comes to aging into beautiful new complex flavors. 12 guests. 1000 Dry Creek Road, Healdsburg.

We’ll chat about how olive oil is made, and how it is tasted and evaluated. Everyone will taste through 3-4 olive oils that have been produced here in Dry Creek Valley. Join Pedroncelli for a seminar led by winemaker Montse Reece who will talk about the differences in the three distinctive single vineyard and historical Zins Pedroncelli makes as well as the winemaking process behind them. “Zinfandel tells the story of the vintage and 2017 was quite a vintage, “says Montse. 12 guests.

Sunday Vineyard Tour at 9:30am – Amista Vineyard Hosted by Ashley Herzberg

Amista Vineyards was founded on the premise that wine is a source of endless discovery, rich friendship and life’s special moments should be everyday celebrations. Ashley Herzberg, Winemaker, will guide you through our 20 acres of estate vineyards. Explore the varieties we grow, hear stories about the wines we make and discover the backwater pond that is part of an innovative Habitat Enhancement Project to restore the natural fish habitat in Dry Creek. Your tour will conclude with a Signature Flight of our single vineyard sparkling and still wines. We suggest comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather. Please allow 60 minutes. Sunday Vineyard Tour at 9:30am – Comstock Wines Hosted by Chris Russi

Participate in a genuine Grape-to-Glass experience, as you tour and taste our Estate Vineyards at Comstock Wines. Taste wines directly in the vineyards where they were grown. Learn about different pruning techniques, row spacing and irrigation methods. Sunday Vineyard Tour at 9:30am – Pedroncelli Home Ranch

Our Mother Clone Vineyard tour includes three generations of Zinfandel vines. We have farmed these hillsides for 92-years! A tasting of our Mother Clone Zinfandel will be included along our Rosé (of Zinfandel of course) and single vineyard Zins – Courage and Bushnell. This is where you’ll get DCV dirt on your shoes and a glassful of Zin! 24 guests. 1280 Canyon Road, Geyserville.

Sunday Vineyard Tour at 9:30am – Trattore Farms & Dry Creek Olive Oil Company

We are a 40-acre estate property that offers a spread of both vineyards and olive orchards. At the start of our tour, guests take in a 180 degree view of Dry Creek from 300 feet above the valley floor. You’ll then be transported throughout the property in an all-terrain vehicle while learning about Trattore’s dedication to sustainable farming.
