Barrel House Vineyards

Barrel House Vineyards

2156 Lyttton Springs Road
Healdsburg, CA

Planted in Cabernet Sauvignon today, Barrel House Vineyards was originally part of a pioneering Dry Creek property, Lenzione Vineyards, begun in 1895 when Domenico Lenzione left Simi. In the early 1900s, the 100,000 gallons-a-year winery's Lytton Springs hillsides were planted in Zinfandel, replaced during Prohibition with apple and prune orchards. The residence, greatly expanded since built in 1918, first served as the winery's barrel house. Today, it is available as a vacation rental.
