We created Reeve as a small passion project in order to explore some new territory and as a creative outlet. Noah is by day the co-founder and Head Winemaker at Banshee Wines, and Kelly helped launch Banshee's tasting room and wine club. We started Reeve (the name of our four-year-old son) in 2015 to create balanced and elegant wines that pay homage to the beauty and possibility that California provides.
While many of our wines would fit into certain on-trend groups, we like to follow our own North Star. This leads us to make wines that are first and foremost delicous, but also possess fine detail, balance, and lingering interest that remains even after the bottle is long gone.
We source grapes from some of the most idyllic vineyards in Sonoma and Mendocino Counties that are organic, biodynamic, or have established low impact techniques.
We released our 2015 Riesling and 2015 Rosé of Pinot Noir in March 2016. Our Anderson Valley Pinot Noir was released in September 2016. We will be releasing more of our 2015 red wines (Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon) in 2017.
Wine and California are well integrated into the fabric of our lives, and we feel so blessed to be doing something that keeps us in tune with soil, rain, sun, food, and friends. We so look forward to sharing some Reeve wines with you.
